Had some wiring melt on my '03 23V two days ago and need to replace it. Anyone know the best way to remove the dash to get easier access to the wires? Really hoping to avoid messing with the steering if possible. is there a trick to getting the dash out without pulling the steering hub?

For getting to those wires without messing with the steering wheel, I believe you need to remove the entire dash panel as one piece.

Look for screws around the dash. They might be hidden under small plastic covers. Sometimes there are also screws along the top or bottom edge. Once you remove all those, the whole panel should usually be able to be carefully tilted or steered out towards you, giving you access to the wiring behind.

Yep, that's the way. Dash panel comes off as one piece, just gotta hunt down those hidden screws and it'll tilt right out.
