Tige Z3 fuel line fix, trying to avoid dealer price

Got an older 2014 Tige Z3 and I'm hunting for the low pressure fuel hose between the pumps. Want to avoid ordering from the dealer if there's a Napa or AutoZone match that'll work.

Be sure to check out Gates or yes... Continental fuel hose at Napa with the right pressure rating and ethanol resistance. If you can, try to bring the old line since that's gonna make matching way easier.

@Ziggy thanks for the specific brand recommendations. I took my old hose down to Napa to try to match it up against a Gates or Continental line. We weren't able to find an automotive hose with the correct ratings and molded shape.

@JahBold confirms what I discovered last week. Finding a direct automotive cross-reference for this part was unsuccessful. It appears that the dealer is the necessary path to obtain the right component for this job.

You need something rated for marine use and specifically for fuel injection systems, which means it has to handle some pressure and be resistant to ethanol in the fuel.
Most of the time, the stuff at Napa or a regular auto parts store isn't rated for marine applications and can degrade over time, so it can lead to leaks and potential fires, which is obviously not what you want.
I'd go with Parker or Gates, it's worth the peace of mind knowing you won't have a failure out on the water!

Yeah, the marine rating is what tripped us up at Napa. Does Parker make a molded hose that fits between the pumps or are you running straight lengths with clamps? I'm planning to order by next week if I can't find a match locally.

Not sure if you should bother with molded hoses. Think of it this way, there are bikes that have rubber lines, so if it's good for the bike it will be good for any Tige boat. Just make sure you don't do any tight bends and you'll be fine.

I've decided to go with a hose that's made for marine use. The points about safety risks with automotive parts in an engine bay made sense to me. I ordered some Parker marine fuel-injection hose, which should get here early next week.
